Medicine is personal. Prescribing should be too.

MyEngene® is a precision medicine platform building the clinical intelligence layer for safe prescribing.

We work to prevent adverse drug reactions (ADR), combining AI pharmacovigilance with comprehensive pharmacogenomics so medication risk is understood before a prescription is written, not after.

A software company with a clinical conscience.

Medicine has long known that our genes shape how we respond to the medications we take. What has been missing is a practical, trustworthy way to act on that knowledge at the moment it matters, the moment of prescribing. That is the layer we build.

Under the banner Your Health Guardians, our platform pairs immediate, AI-driven medication risk intelligence with deep, whole-genome pharmacogenomic analysis, a shared knowledge base serving patients, clinicians, and health systems alike.

We are deliberately a dry-lab software company. Sequencing is performed by accredited, certified partner laboratories; MyEngene provides the verification, clinical interpretation, decision support, and reporting layer above it. We own all of our core intellectual property, and we hold ourselves to the standard that every recommendation we surface can be traced to its authoritative source.

Right Drug, Right Dose

Why We Exist

Prescribing shouldn't be trial and error.
Every day, people take medications their doctors prescribed in good faith, and for some of them, that trust is quietly broken. Not because the doctor made a mistake, and not because the drug was bad, but because each body processes medication differently. The same drug at the same dose can heal one person and harm another.

What We Believe

The Principles We're Built on
In clinical AI, how you build matters as much as what you build.
These commitments shape every line of our platform.
If it can't be traced, it isn't said.
Every finding our platform surfaces must be traced to an authoritative clinical source before it is permitted into a report. Anything that cannot be verified is suppressed rather than reported. Emerging science is welcomed, but held in a clearly labelled research tier until authoritative guidance exists.
Every recommendation carries its receipts.
Each statement records its originating guideline or regulatory label and the version it came from, and findings are written to a tamper-evident audit trail. A clinician, auditor, or regulator can confirm that any report is exactly what the platform issued, and trace its reasoning to the source.
Same input. Same output. Every time.
We built a deterministic architecture rather than a conversational guesser. Unlike generative systems whose answers can drift from one run to the next, our results are consistent, reproducible, and version-controlled, because in medication safety, an answer that changes is an answer you cannot trust.
We equip clinicians. We never replace them.
Our role is to make the conversation between patient and clinician better informed, surfacing risk, mechanism, and guideline-supported alternatives. The final decision always belongs to people: the patient and the healthcare professionals who care for them. Privacy and consent are foundations, not features.

Our Journey

Where we were. Where we're going.

Born in Calgary, built for the world

MyEngene began in Alberta, Canada, with a conviction: that the science of pharmacogenomics was ready for everyday medicine, and what was missing was an implementation layer clinicians could actually trust. Incorporated in the United States and rooted in Calgary, we set out to build it.

Engineering the guardians

We chose the harder road: a deterministic, verifiable architecture over a fashionable chatbot; an asset-light partnership model with accredited laboratories over owning wet-lab infrastructure; and a protected intellectual property portfolio to defend the approach. Every choice traded speed of hype for depth of trust.

Recognition from those who set the bar

Our regulatory position has been reviewed and confirmed by North American regulators and accreditation bodies, allowing immediate deployment where traditional diagnostics face multi-year cycles. Our architecture has been presented on leading clinical-AI stages, and our science advances through funded validation programs, academic collaboration, and real-world pilots with clinicians and care organizations.

From a single clinic to population-scale prevention

Our ambition is simple to state and demanding to earn: medication safety that scales from an individual prescription to national population programs, across borders, health systems, and generations. As we enter new markets, we work with local counsel and regulatory advisors so that trust travels with us.

Where MyEngene® began.

Advancing medication safety through pharmacogenomics and AI

MyEngene® began with a simple question: why does the same medication help one person and harm another? Today, we’re answering it where the risk is highest, in pharmacies and continuing care.
